- Aqua Investment Management is a commercial mortgage debt and securities advisory and investment firm.
- Aqua currently provides ongoing surveillance / asset-management and reporting services for a large portfolio
of commercial mortgage debt products. The CMBS and CDO portion of this portfolio includes over 200 underlying CMBS pools.
- Assets under management include CMBS, CRE CDO, B-Notes, Mezzanine Loans and Whole Loans.
- Aqua also currently provides valuation assistance services on approximately $150 million of CMBS and CDO securities.
- Aqua has launched two CMBS-related investment funds, Aqua BlueGate CMBS Venture I, L.P. ("Fund I") and Aqua BlueGate CMBS Venture II, L.P. ("Fund II").
- Fund I was liquidated in April 2010 after achieving an IRR of 48%.
- Fund II took advantage of the TALF for legacy CMBS program and is achieving an annual gross current yield of 14.5%+.
- Aqua's two principals have over 20 years experience in the CMBS and commercial mortgage debt arenas and have worked together since 2004.
